This app could be great if there was more effort to constantly update this app and make it available on AppleTV and Roku. It doesn’t seem to be available on streaming devices, just mobile devices.

I installed the app on my iPad, I watch one movie and after that it signs me out, I try to log back in and it says I do not subscribe to Cinemax, (I do). I have to uninstall the app and reinstall every time I want to use it. And how about making it available on roku? I am considering canceling my subscription because it just isn’t as good as all the other premium channels.

The app is great but with no cast ability it’s rated significantly lower.

Either get it together with the casting or just call it quits like Encore did with STARZ and roll that content into HBO where it’ll be seen.

This app requires a major upgrade! Should allow to broadcast through your TV. Selection of shows need to be more precise

Use w/ 1st gen iPad and IPhoneX. Never had a problem. Easy to use.

I would like to be able to download the app in my Apple TV instead of streaming from my phone. Can you develop an app for Apple TV, please?

horrendous app, besides basic streaming on your apple device. it offers no versatility.

Cannot cast to tv.

I have no idea how people are having problems with airplay to Apple TV or with chromecast as I have both devices and streaming from the App is super easy. An Apple TV app would be nice but you still can literally do anything on your phone while casting to either aforementioned device. Low ratings on here are from low tech users who can take the time to write a complaint but can’t learn how to use their devices. Unreal. Love the app and selection of films.

While Airplay is supported natively (finally) there is still no support for Chromecast, either on here or on the Android app. HBO’s main app, HBOGO and HBONOW both support AirPlay as well as Chromecast so this is baffling to me. Please fix!!!!

Lol no Apple TV

This program crashes every time I attempt to sign in.

Silly that there is still no Apple TV app.

Crappy app, still can’t cast to chrome cast...get with it Cinemax. Will be cancelling my subscription

No casting? Really? Its 2018. 8 year olds in Indonesia are creating apps that work better than this app has ever worked

Great selection of movies! But would use the App more often, and watch Cinemax more in general if the App was available for AppleTV. Airplay from the phone or iPad is doable but definitely not optimal... actually it’s pretty annoying, given that every other major channel is available on all platforms.

Whenever I log in to the app with my cable account, it immediately crashes and I can’t use it.

Can someone tell me why cinemax app isn’t on apple tv

It is Not Chromecast compatible.Not much more to say.
